Milan Expo 2015 Commissioner Giuseppe Sala said Wednesday that over six million people visited the World Fair in its first two months. “We have passed the mark of six million visitors in two months,” Sala said at a convention at Expo organised by defence and aerospace giant Finmeccanica. “Expo is a success and the level of satisfaction is high”.
Some 2.7 million people visited Expo, which focuses on good nutrition and sustainable development under the theme Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, in its opening month May.
The fair will run until the end of October.
